Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Armonk Independent Fire Company. Requires completion of NYS-approved firefighter or EMT training (150-200 hours classroom plus hands-on drills). Active members respond to alarms, complete ongoing training and drills, attend cleanups, and participate in department activities. Open to high school students and those who work in Armonk regardless of residence.
Requirements: NYS-approved firefighter or EMT certification, ability to respond to alarms, willingness to complete 150-200 hours training
