Job Description
Eastchester Firefighters respond to emergency situations and protect the public. Responsibilities include fire fighting and prevention, salvage, and rescue operations, routine maintenance, and custodial work on station house and equipment. Requires completion of 17-week fire academy training.
Requirements: US citizenship, high school diploma (at appointment), valid NY State driver's license, minimum age 18, NY State legal residency, Westchester County legal residency 30 days prior to exam, pass civil service exam, pass CPAT, pass medical and background investigation
Salary: Starting Salary $60,709.71 (2024); 6th Year $108,632.89 (2024)
