Job Description
Eastchester Firefighters respond to emergency situations and protect the public. Responsibilities include fire fighting and prevention, salvage, and rescue operations. This work requires mental acuity and physical stamina in the performance of duties. Routine maintenance and custodial work on the station house and equipment are required.
Requirements: US Citizenship (at time of appointment), High School Diploma (at time of appointment), Current New York State Driver's License (at time of appointment), Minimum age 18, Westchester County Legal Residency (30 days prior to exam), New York State Legal Residency
Salary: Starting Salary $60,709.71 (2024) to 6th Year $108,632.89 (2024)
