Job Description
Volunteer firefighters are responsible for all fire suppression activities including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, carbon monoxide alarms, and hazardous materials incidents. The department provides extensive training through the Nassau County Fire Service Academy and operates a Mobile Training Unit for live burn drills.
Requirements: 18–55 years old, resident of Franklin Square & Munson Fire District, must pass department physical exam, maintain alarm and training attendance requirements
