Job Description
Volunteer firefighter positions with the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District. Candidates must be at least 16 years old (with parental consent if under 18). The department provides 100% free training, gear, equipment, and offers NYS tax credits, college credit opportunities, college scholarships, and a retirement program. Some training is eligible for paid training stipend.
Requirements: Minimum age 16 (parental consent required if under 18), pass background check, zero tolerance for drug/alcohol/illegal substance abuse
