Career Firefighter

Progressive fire protection district accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for Career Firefighter/EMT or Career Firefighter/Paramedic positions. Entry-level candidates must apply online with National Testing Network and submit current Firefighter Mile or CPAT results. Lateral candidates submit physical application.

Requirements: Valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, valid Ohio EMT or Paramedic certification, ability to pass physical agility test (Firefighter Mile or CPAT), psychological evaluation, polygraph examination, medical examination with drug testing

Salary: Entry-level annual salary for EMTs is $70,083, and for Paramedics is $78,497; Lateral Paramedics starting salary range is $82,410 - 88,280 depending on experience level
