Job Description
Part-time Fire Inspector position (approximately 20-25 hours per week) with the City of Xenia Fire & EMS Division. Performs inspections of industrial plants, commercial establishments, and places of public assembly to determine compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. Conducts public relations events and training for community groups.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, three years of experience in fire prevention and/or fire suppression, valid State of Ohio driver's license, Ohio Fire Inspector Certification, Associate's degree in Fire Science or related field preferred, Arson Investigator and Level II Firefighter certifications preferred
Salary: $25.58 - $42.64, DOQ
