Job Description
The Babylon Fire Department (100% volunteer since 1881) is recruiting volunteer firefighters. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live within the Village of Babylon/Babylon fire district. All new members serve a 1-year probationary period during which they obtain Firefighter 1 certification and attend internal training. All training, uniforms, and equipment are provided at no cost.
Requirements: 18 years old, residency in Village of Babylon/Babylon fire district, background investigation, physical examination, Firefighter 1 certification (obtained during probationary period)
