Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with Little Axe Fire Department. Applicants must complete a mandatory in-house academy (6-8 weeks) and 12-month probationary period. No monetary compensation. Willing to enter burning buildings and respond to emergencies at odd hours and in inclement weather required.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, valid driver's license, good physical condition, high school education or equivalent, willingness to submit to drug screening and attend prescribed training, ability to enter burning buildings
