Job Description
Volunteer firefighters protect life and property through firefighting and EMS activities. Training includes 120-150 hour recruit academy, wildland certification (S-130/190 L-180), regular drill training, and emergency medical responder certification. First-year commitment is approximately 368-370 hours similar to part-time employment.
Requirements: 18 years or older, strenuous physical exertion capability, willingness to complete comprehensive training (recruit academy, wildland, EMR, drills, specialized training)
