Job Description
Western Lane Fire and EMS Authority seeks volunteers (18+ years old) to protect life and property through firefighting and EMS activities. Volunteers receive in-depth cost-free training including Recruit Academy (120-150 hours), wildland training, shift work, and regular drills. Work alongside paid staff and dedicated volunteers responding to all types of emergency calls.
Requirements: 18 years or older, willingness to commit to training (approximately 368-438 hours in first year), physical ability to perform strenuous work, Emergency Medical Responder certification required
