Job Description
Western Lane Fire and EMS Authority seeks volunteers (18+ years old) to protect life and property through firefighting and EMS activities. Training includes recruit academy (120-150 hours), wildland certification, emergency medical responder training, and ongoing drill training. Volunteers work shifts at the main station alongside paid staff.
Requirements: 18 years or older, willingness to complete recruit academy and certifications (S-130/190, L-180, EMR), ability to commit to strenuous physical exertion, first-year time commitment approximately 368-376 hours
