Job Description
56-hour full-time position providing emergency medical response, fire suppression, hazardous materials, rescue, and fire prevention activities. Working 1/3/2/3 schedule (24 on/72 off/48 on/72 off). District is testing to fill 1 position and establish a hiring list for future employment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, NFPA Firefighter 1, NFPA Haz/Mat First Responder Operations, NFPA Driver certification, current State of Oregon Paramedic License or ability to obtain by hire date, current Health Care Provider CPR certification, valid driver's license, pass physical exam and drug screen, criminal background check. Residency within 12 miles of station 21 within one year (changing to 24 miles July 1, 2026).
Salary: $75,744-$91,320 annually, increasing to $77,256-$93,144 on July 1, 2026
