Job Description
Full-time position working a 56-hour schedule (1/3/2/3 rotation) providing emergency medical response, fire suppression, hazardous materials, rescue, and fire prevention activities. The district serves approximately 19,000 residents in the Sweet Home area and responds to about 3,400 calls annually.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, NFPA Firefighter 1 certification, NFPA Haz/Mat (First Responder) Operations, NFPA Driver certification, current Oregon Paramedic License (or ability to obtain by hire date), Health Care Provider CPR certification, valid driver's license, pass physical exam and background check
Salary: $75,744-$91,320 annually, increasing to $77,256-$93,144 on July 1, 2026
