Job Description
Central Coast Fire & Rescue is accepting applications for a Firefighter Engineer. Candidates must be certified in all minimum requirements through DPSST (NFPA), IFSAC, or Pro-Board certifications by the date of hire. The position includes comprehensive health insurance, life insurance, vacation, sick leave, OPSRP PERS, 457-B retirement plan, and EMS incentive pays.
Requirements: 1 year career or 2 years volunteer firefighter experience, NFPA Firefighter I, NFPA Apparatus Operator Equipped with a Pump, Wildland Interface Firefighter Type II, valid Oregon driver's license, pre-employment medical exam, pre-employment background check, EMT Basic (Oregon Health Division or NREMT), NIMS 100/200/700/800, NFPA Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations or NFPA First Responder Operations
Salary: Annual - $47,873.28 to $60.453.12
