Volunteer Firefighter

Charleston Rural Fire Protection District is seeking volunteer firefighters to provide fire suppression, public education, fire prevention, and emergency medical/rescue services. Training is provided at no cost. Reimbursements and incentives are provided for expenses incurred in responding to alarms and drills.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age, valid Oregon Driver's License, Coos County residency, Recruit Academy completion, physical abilities test, background investigation, medical evaluation

Salary: $10.00 per weekly training session and per alarm response
