Career Firefighter

Career Firefighters protect life, property, and the environment through fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, fire prevention, and public education within the City of Coatesville. The position requires performing physically demanding and hazardous work under extreme conditions, including fire, smoke, heat, confined spaces, heights, and adverse weather. Firefighters operate apparatus and equipment, provide emergency medical care, conduct inspections and pre-planning, and participate in training and community outreach.
