Job Description
100% volunteer fire department seeking live-in volunteers to respond to 700+ fire, rescue, and EMS calls annually. Position includes cost-free living quarters with amenities, training opportunities at state and national academies, and pathway to career fire service employment. Firefighters provide fire suppression, vehicle extrication, technical rescue, hazmat support, and first responder EMS services.
Requirements: Preferred: Firefighter I, Vehicle Rescue Technician, Hazardous Materials operations level, CPR/AED, PA DOH First Responder or Higher; previous training and experience given first consideration; anyone interested encouraged to apply
