Firefighter

Volunteer firefighter position with Little Axe Fire Department requiring completion of in-house recruit academy training prior to assignment. Successful candidates graduate as probationary firefighters with a minimum 12-month probationary period. All positions are unpaid and require availability to respond to calls at any time including odd hours and inclement weather.

Requirements: At least 18 years old, valid driver's license, willing to attend training, willing to enter burning buildings, pass drug screening, good physical condition, willingness to complete specific training goals over first three years
