Job Description
Career firefighter position with Norristown Fire Department. Applicants must possess PA State Certified Level II Firefighter certification, high school diploma, valid PA driver's license, and meet NFPA 1001 and 1002 standards. Volunteers with 12+ months service at NFD may receive additional points on examination.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, US citizenship, age 21+, valid PA driver's license, PA State Certified Level II Firefighter (NFPA 1001), NFPA 1002 Driver Operator - Pumper Certification or EVOC + pump operations course, physically and mentally fit
