Job Description
Career firefighter position with the Norristown Fire Department. Applicants must be Pennsylvania State Certified Level II Firefighter or equivalent, meet NFPA 1002 Driver Operator standards, and possess a valid PA driver's license. Volunteers with 12+ months service and 10% emergency call attendance receive 5 additional points.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, US citizen, 21 years of age, valid PA driver's license, Pennsylvania State Certified Level II Firefighter (NFPA 1001), NFPA 1002 Driver Operator Pumper Certification or EVOC plus pump operations, physically and mentally fit
