Job Description
Rainbow Volunteer Fire Department invites citizens from White Oak and surrounding communities to join as volunteer firefighters. Members respond to approximately 300 calls per year including fire, vehicle rescue, rope rescue, hazmat, and wildfire. Three membership types available: Regular Active, Junior (14-18 years), and Associate.
Requirements: Criminal background check (PA ePatch), child clearance background check (PA Compass), application fee ($10.00), meet required points (208) and fundraising credits (6) annually. No previous training or physical ability required for non-firefighting roles.
