Firefighter

Full-time firefighter position with West Florence Fire Department operating on a 48-hour shift rotation (48 hours on duty, 96 hours off duty). Responsibilities include fire suppression, hazardous materials responses, rescue operations, and providing medical assistance at the First Responder level. Heavy physical work involving lifting, climbing, and crawling.

Requirements: Age 18+, U.S. citizen, high school diploma/GED, valid SC driver's license, Firefighter I certification (Firefighter II preferred), Haz-Mat Ops, NIMS certifications (100.b, 200.b, 700.a, 800.b), Basic Auto Extrication, EMR Certification, 10-year driving record

Salary: $34,000 - $42,000 per year
