Job Description
The Travelers Rest Fire Department is accepting applications for Firefighter positions. Benefits include PORS Retirement, BCBS insurance (employee paid by city, 70% family covered by city), paid holidays, paid sick leave and annual leave, paid training opportunities, and $500 sign-on bonus at completion of 6 months.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age, CPR and First Aid certification, High School Diploma or equivalent, EVDT Firefighter-1 (or CDL-B/Class E for Firefighter-2). Must pass SLED Background Check, Departmental Physical, Drug Test, Physical Agility Test, and provide 5 year driving history.
