Job Description
Join the Troy Volunteer Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter protecting the community. Requires commitment to respond to emergency calls, complete Firefighter I & II training academy (fully funded by City of Troy), and maintain minimum 80 hours of annual training. Non-EMS department; CPR and AED trained.
Requirements: Live or work within 3 miles of Troy Fire Station, 18+ years old, high school diploma or GED, valid Michigan driver's license, pass background check, medical examination, physical agility test, and interviews
Salary: $75,000 after 10 years of service; additional $10,000 to $15,000 every 5 years thereafter
