Job Description
A cadet program designed to prepare motivated individuals for a firefighter/EMT career through TCFP basic fire suppression and DSHS EMT-Basic training, plus 72 hours per month of on-the-job training at the fire station. Successful completion may lead to employment as a probationary firefighter with the District.
Requirements: Age 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, U.S. citizenship or work authorization, able to read/write/speak English, high level of physical fitness, no disqualifying conditions for firefighter/EMT employment in Texas
