Job Description
Compensated volunteer firefighter position with Elderville-Lakeport VFD. Similar requirements as volunteer firefighter role. No previous experience or training required; department provides training.
Requirements: 18+ years old, valid driver's license, good physical and mental condition, pass criminal background check (no felony convictions or pending felony indictments), pass drug screen, pass DMV status check, live within ELVFD fire district (or up to 3 miles outside for non-voting members), complete NIMS classes (ICS 100/200/700/800), Courage to be Safe course, National Traffic Incident Management Responder course, attend minimum 4 training meetings within 6 months
