Job Description
Firefighter trainee position for EMT-certified candidates. Requires completion of 16-week Fire Academy. Starting salary $64,503.66 based on 9-day rotation with 13 platoon days annually (50-hour average workweek). Certification incentives available ($100-300/month for TCFP certifications).
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old, valid Texas Driver's License, EMT-Basic certification from TDSHS by hire date, able to complete 16-week Fire Academy, pass criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, health physical
