Full-Time Firefighter/EMT-B

Full-time Firefighter/EMT-B assigned to 24-hour shifts on a pre-set rotating schedule. Responsible for responses to fire and emergency medical incidents, public education programs, pre-fire plan surveys, fire station maintenance, and fire apparatus maintenance. Opportunities for all hazard and wildland deployment with Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System.

Requirements: Current basic or higher firefighter certification (TCFP), EMT-Basic certification, valid Texas Class A or B driver's license (within 6 months), NIMS 100/200/700/800 certifications, Courage to be Safe course certificate, High School Diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), 18+ years old, US Citizen or permanent resident, pass medical exam, drug screening, background check, and Physical Ability Test (PAT), 130/190 Wildland training preferred

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 based on years of experience and certifications
