Job Description
Part-time firefighter positions with Austin County ESD No. 2. Responsibilities include responding to fire, rescue, medical, and public service calls; operating fire apparatus; performing fire suppression and rescue operations; and providing emergency medical care.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid Texas Driver's License, Texas Commission on Fire Protection certification as Basic Firefighter or higher, Texas Department of State Health Services EMT certification or higher, ability to maintain certifications, physically capable of performing emergency service duties
