Job Description
Open competitive civil service examination for Firefighter positions with Temple Fire and Rescue. Written exam on September 12, 2026, followed by physical agility assessment. Applicants must pass with 70% minimum score. Residency requirement within 150 minutes travel time of Central Fire Station.
Requirements: US citizen, 18-35 years old, high school diploma or GED, valid Texas Driver's License, proficient in English, no felony convictions, good character, meet TCFP and Texas Department State Health Services requirements for EMT/Paramedic licensing
Salary: $29.3643 hourly ($61,077 /annually)
