Job Description
Part-time call staff firefighter position responding to emergencies on an as-needed basis. Call staff may work 12-hour shifts or respond from home if within 10 minutes of station. Positions include fire suppression and EMS response. Department sponsors VT Fire Academy Firefighter Level One certification.
Requirements: Firefighter Level One certification preferred but not required (training provided), AEMT or Paramedic certification preferred for EMS component, must be able to respond to 5-10 calls per month (in-zone) or 24+ hours per month (out-of-zone)
