Job Description
City of Wausau Firefighter/Paramedics respond to emergencies and perform fire suppression activities, rescue work, hazardous materials response, and basic or advanced life-support emergency medical service. Open to paramedic students, new firefighter/paramedic candidates, and lateral hires.
Requirements: EMT-Paramedic license on or before June 30, 2026 (or active enrollment in Wisconsin Technician College system Paramedic training program)
Salary: $5,338.02 - $6,767.74 Monthly
