FULL TIME WAGE RANGE (Probationary to After 5 Years - HOURLY RATE)
EMT $21.33 - $24.85/hour
AEMT $22.40 - $26.08/hour
PARAMEDIC $29.46 - $35.90/hour
CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC $30.93 - $37.71/hour
LIEUTENANT $32.48 - $39.60/hour

Testing Process for Applicants

Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic & Part-Time Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic:
- Written Examination- This examination is written to your current provider level and uses National Registry Curriculum for the test questions. Any CPR or ACLS/PALS questions are to the current AHA guidelines. There are no protocol specific questions. The test also includes fire related questions to the IFSAC Firefighter I certification level.
- Physical Agility Test- The physical agility test is designed to test endurance, mobility and physical function.
- EMS scenario- The EMS scenario is designed to test your medical skills to your current provider level.
- Personnel Evaluation Profile
- Panel Interview

The testing and panel interviews will be done at the same time
